Korean Terms We Use

Being a traditional martial art, instruction is given in Korean as well as the native tongue of the Student. Below is some of the terminology used. Because Korean (Han Gul, the great language) uses a different alphabet than English, the spellings below are only phonetic approximations. Also, due to regional dialects, there may be other terms/phrases used by native Korean speakers (known alternates in parentheses).  Please consult with a native Korean speaker for proper pronunciation.
